Kristin received her Ph.D. in Child and Family Studies from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville in May 2017. Her research focuses on sexuality and relationship health of adolescents and college students, including high-risk vulnerable youth. Specifically, Kristin examines the relationship between sexual identity development and engagement in higher risk sexual and relationship behaviors. She currently works as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Kansas State University on two Administration for Children and Families government funded grants focused on healthy relationship and sexuality education/interventions. Kristin has a passion for public and community outreach through education/intervention programs, and hopes to continue reaching out to communities with up-to-date information about relationship topics that they may find useful.
